There was a lot of hype surrounding Chris Webber leading up to the 1993 NBA Draft. Webber was drafted by the Orlando Magic, but was traded to the Golden State Warriors for Penny Hardaway. He was a versatile power forward that could do it all.
Webber went on to have some successful season, putting up some tremendous averages. During the 2003 season, Webber sustained a career-altering knee injuring that would eventually reduce his production for the rest of his time in the league. Chris Webber falls into the “What If” category along with some others whose careers were plagued by unfortunate injuries. Some feel that if it wasn’t for his knee injury, how much more effective would Chris Webber just have been; or maybe if he could have played longer in the league than he did.
